ITALIAN OMBRELLONI - SEASON 2026
Crafted in collaboration with a family-run Italian workshop established in 1948, these ombrelloni draw on decades of expertise rooted in the traditions of the Italian coastline — where uncompromising quality has always been essential.
Each piece is made from scratch in Italy, carrying an original silhouette and a deep respect for traditional craftsmanship. Every element is produced locally — from the anodised aluminium to the weaving and sewing of the fabric — within a tightly knit circle of makers, ensuring exceptional precision and attention to detail.
The canopy is made from Tempotest® para fabric, developed for demanding outdoor conditions and renowned for its durability, colour fastness, and resistance to sun, salt, and chlorine. A material chosen not only for its performance, but for its ability to retain its beauty over time.
For generations, this workshop has produced parasols and sun loungers for the Italian coast. Their work is not only functional, but part of a visual language — one that defines the rhythm and elegance of Italian summers that I love so much.
Each ombrellone is part of a limited edition, thoughtfully designed and curated to Scandinavian summers but still with a clear tribute to the colours of Italy.

OMBRELLONI for KILDEGÅRDEN, TISVILDE
I am so proud of the terracotta-cream Ombrelloni being part of the newly renovated Kildegården. The loveliest gem of a hotel, carefully renovated with respect for the heritage of this place.

CALDANE FAVIGNANA Ø300
This wonderful blue striped fabric is named after the beautiful blue island of Favignana - east of Sicily. The fabric was made exclusively for Worsaae.com and comes in furnitures and Ombrelloni

BESPOKE OMBRELLONI for HIK tennis club
I love tennis and I love OMBRELLONI, so it was so wonderful when i was asked to renew HIK tennis club a bit with furnitures and OMBRELLONI. The HIK logo was quietly embossed on umbrellas and furniture, using the signature colour of the clay court and the blue signature colour of HIK.
Here the PRAIANO ombrelloni Ø220 is used together with SEDIE in terracotta/cream and SDRAIO in terracotta/cream

The 3x3 CALDANE in ochre with cream details, looks beautiful here on the coastline in Tisvilde at Mette & Jacobs house.
The small valances made just for this ombrelloni, gives a lively touch and the mustard yellow colour is so beautiful next to all the blues.
